I first attended an NLP Practitioner Course back in the early 1990′s. Richard Bandler and John Grinder. The one book I've read about it is Frogs into Princes (by Richard Bandler and John Grinder), and the subtext of this seemed to be, 'We know all this seems superficial to you, but really it's profound' – but I thought it was superficial, and deluded. Having obtained a copy of Frogs into Princes by Richard Bandler and John Grinder from my local library, I (after a couple of renewals) am just on the point of finishing it. We created the first four Bandler/Grinder books that many have said put NLP “on the map”— Frogs into Princes, Trance-formations, Reframing, and Using Your Brain for a Change—from transcripts of seminars. I went over to my shelves of many books and with my eyes closed I pick the book that would explain it all. It is becoming increasingly familiar in formal education, professional development, and informal . Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) – developed in the 1970's by Richard Bandler and John Grinder – is an approach that aims to enhance the effectiveness of communication and facilitate learning and personal development. €�Frog Into Princes” was what my Teachers gave me as my answer. I just ordered Frogs into Princes by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, This book was the beginning of NLP or neuro linguistic programming. 'Strangely' because I'm not a great admirer of NLP; I've met some splendid practitioners, but others seem to have been drawn in by the possibilities for manipulation opened up by some of the techniques.
